Sussex Upholstery is the only accredited training centre in Sussex delivering the Association of Master Upholsterers & Soft Furnishers Diploma, alongside this we offer our own successful leisure courses. We offer a fun and friendly training environment which is supportive and encouraging. Working at a pace to suit you, whether you take on our recreational or AMUSF accredited course you will learn new skills and develop your abilities over time.
Our upholstery service offers both traditional & modern techniques working closely with both residential & commercial customers, to help devise & design their visions.
Sussex Upholstery has been running courses for the past 10 years and has been providing bespoke upholstery services to clients for over 15 years & we are proud of our attention to detail on every item that leaves the studio.
Courses
Sussex Upholstery was founded in 2016 by Louise Neville. We offer leisure courses & the AMUSF accredited Upholstery Diploma, which is the only accredited & certified upholstery course in the UK. Students are encouraged to be creative & innovative with their projects. Don't worry if you've never even picked up a hammer before, both courses are ideally suited to the complete beginner & also students with more upholstery experience. Come & learn a new artisan craft & be part of the movement to keep our skilled craft evolving.
Upholstery Services
We offer a wide range of specialist bespoke upholstery services. From small projects to whole room scenarios. Louise takes on limited commissions preferring to work on projects that she can get excited about. If you have an upholstery project in mind we are happy to talk about your requirements. We work closely with all our residential clients & also with many interiors designers & furniture designers.
