AMUSF DIPLOMA
The association of Master Upholsterers & Soft Furnishers, Upholstery Diploma is a progressive 3 stage course & is aimed at people looking at a career in upholstery. It is currently the only UK accredited qualification course & may lead to employment within the industry or with additional practice may lead to you starting your own business.
The course teaches practical skills of both modern & traditional upholstery techniques & other critical thinking skills. Each stage may be studied separately dependant on the students previous experience & is verified externally.
Creativity & precision is key & your tutor will be sharing their passion for a truly creative & joyful learning experience. The stages are intensive courses where you will be learning a lot in a short space of time. The cohort is small, so quality tutoring can be delivered.
As an upholsterer, you will be able to offer a sustainable service to potential future clients, bringing skill, quality craftwork & better ecological choices.
